It’s a Wonderful Life
E and I watched the first half of It’s a Wonderful Life a couple weeks ago with her family for our Christmas get together, and decided to finish the second half of it Christmas Day, and I speak for both of when I say it’s a PERFECT movie. 2026 will make this movie 80 years old, and its extraordinary how timeless it is, and particularly how timeless the comedy is. It’s effortlessly funny, and while much of that has to do with the brilliance of James Stewart, there’s a charm to the story and all of the characters that Frank Capra just so poignantly nailed in a way, that clearly, will live on forever. Love, love, LOVE this movie. Happy holidays to you reader, and remember: “no man is a failure who has friends”.
